Meiava Elevate Community Engagement Guidelines

Meiava has devised these simple guidelines to help ensure that the purpose, quality, and integrity of our community interactions are to the highest standard for all participants and stakeholders.

Purpose: Meiava Elevate brings together a global community with the common objective to provide women with greater access to advisors/mentors to support their career and life goals. By doing so, we hope that more women are elevated to leadership roles. Most of all, we wish to inspire women to pursue their work and life goals and provide the support they need to achieve these.

Confidentiality: You are part of a community and development network where we have a common interest to create relationships that support women in their work and life goals. We want to ensure this is a safe place for community members to engage with each other. Please help us to build and maintain trusted relationships by keeping all conversations and communications confidential.

Non-solicitation: Participating in the Meiava community and as a user of the Meiava Elevate platform you agree not to solicit others for any commercial, advocacy, promotional, social cause, or political purpose. This includes solicitations with the purpose of hiring (employing on any basis including contracting) on behalf of your business, employer, business where you have a financial or personal interest, or others that you may represent. You agree also not to promote or sell products, business services, or personal services, and not to use the platform and Meiava community as a network for fundraising, cold-calling of any kind, mass-mailing or broadcast emails/messaging, or any other similar activities. 

Profiles: Participating in the Meiava community and as a user of the Meiava Elevate platform you agree to our privacy policy. We ask that you complete your profile information as much as possible in order for the platform to effectively match you with others. The profiles featured on the Meiava Elevate platform are provided by and updated by each individual.

Time: Please understand that Advisors offer their time on an unpaid volunteer basis to give back to the community. At the same time, the Mentees are seeking advice and support and their time is also valuable. We ask that you be respectful of one another’s time. If you need to cancel or reschedule conversation hours booked, please extend the courtesy to make all effort to communicate this as far as possible in advance. During the conversation time, be aware of the scheduled allocation of minutes to keep within the allocated time frame, unless mutually agreed to extend or shorten it.

We will take appropriate action should we (or others in the community) observe that these guidelines are being violated, including revoking access to the Meiava Elevate platform and Meiava community. Please help us by following the community engagement guidelines to make it a great experience for everyone.
